WHO IS CANTERBURY BALUSTRADE?
- Canterbury Balustrade are fabricators and installers of glass and aluminium balustrades, pool fencing and handrails.
- All our products are manufactured in house from aluminium and/or glass with stainless steel fixings – ideal materials for a durable balustrade or pool fence.
- Locally owned and operated by directors Mike Sarjeant and Hamish Gillespie along with the skilled and competent team.
- We have been manufacturing and installing balustrades, handrails and pool fences for 15 years in both residential and commercial sectors and have installed balustrades to thousands of projects thus have extensive experience in this field.
- Our factory, including office & showroom is located at 185a Wordsworth St, Sydenham

The ‘safety of the end-user’ is our number one priority. Engineering plays an integral part of balustrade design, as the product must be able to withstand the loads stipulated in the New Zealand Building Code. The product is not only designed with experienced and engineering expertise, it is also physically tested.
Producer statements are available for all our Balustrade designs and can be assembled to suit your specific project needs.
